kicking back... relaxing after a busy day. We got started around 9 this morning loading up our truck... the timing was perfect as we finished loading it, John's best friend & his dad came with a big box truck. As I headed to the house, the guys loaded up the big truck. I was not at the new house more than 20-30 minutes until John's uncle arrived and started unloading. Maybe 10 mins later the guys showed up with the box truck and then my family with another load and the flow of boxes began! I directed as well as I could as I tried to get the kitchen unpacked. Things really went fast and everything was moved by 12 or so. It was then just nice to sit down and enjoy the beautiful day outside with our families, eating some lunch my Mom, John's sister & Mom so wonderfully brought! Everyone left around 3 or so and John & I got busy in the basement organizing. More family arrived to visit, so took another break... then we got the basement in order. After another break by stop-ins, we got the bedroom in temporary order until the new stuff arrives on the 28th.
So...now we're just relaxing in the basement and taking it easy. Tomorrow's another busy day as we've decided to paint the living room. The nice thing is, the living room furniture does not arrive until this Wednesday :-)
