I swear... can anyone tell me how are half way through October already? This last year has gone by so quickly. VERY Exciting news... I completed my LAST course on the 11th... I will officially graduate with my Bachelors in Organizational Leadership degree this December. St. Francis does not have ceremonies in December (they're to small...lol), but I will graduate. I plan to "walk" in May. Still haven't decided if I want to have a big party in December or wait 'tl January.
Now that classes are done, I'm lookin forward to havin Saturdays back. Of course, I think there's some kind of plan for all of then anyway...lol. Last weekend we went to Johnstown to a Legion-sponsored fund-raiser for soldiers. We didn't stay long, just stopped in enough for John to be seen and I got to see the mobile tower and some other pieces of equipment he refers to. We then enjoyed a nice dinner out at a local Mexican place, had a few adult beverages and retired to the hotel to watch Penn State... Was a nice little get-a-way.
Waiting for my dear friend Jackie to have her baby....any day.... Hard to believe it's been 40 weeks that we were in Disney together. Can't wait to meet the little souvenier she & hubby Scott brought back...lol.
We're house/dog-sitting for John's sister, Mary right now. As I type, Dempsey (the boxer) is curled up on the other end of the couch. I think he's waiting for me to go to bed...
