Well.. as you know I'm not a huge movie follower, but I watched The Bucket List over the weekend... a must see for sure. It's always good to watch something that reminds you that all we have is today... this moment... so, live it now because it may be our last shot...
Anyway... just been a wonderful few days here. I spent Saturday with Mom driving around in a snow storm. I stayed the night, just spending some QT with her. Sunda, after lunch with the family, I headed back home where I stopped in to drop some things off for John's folks. I beat John home by all of 20 minutes. We relaxed a bit before heading out to watch the first half of the Steelers game at the Elks. We finished watching it at home.
Following the game, we had such an amazing and open and loving conversation. There's been some rough spots along our path of late, but we smoothed every one of them out. It's just so amazing and wonderful to think we can talk about ANYTHING and just love each other more.
So, now...back to the regular grind of things. Work should be interesting this week as I meet with my new boss (well... at least i think I have one... who knows... this merger thing..ugh). I need to get my new job description written all while finishing up jobs I have. It's an interesting challenge for sure. We'll all get thru...
Tonight I took all of the Christmas cards we got, cut out the signatures of people and a few select fronts of cards & scrapbooked them... i think it turned out pretty decent. Now...if I can every get the Hawaii book done... lol
