Wow...the last few weeks have been crazy! I'm not sure who even follows this little blog 'o mine..but in case you haven't heard...I'm engaged and planning a wedding! I've got 148 days to put it together--easy! Especially with such WONDERFUL friends!
John proposed at our housewarming party on May 16... we decided last week to go for it & set October 31 as our date.. It started as a joke, but it's his favorite 'holiday', I have always wanted a fall wedding, it's an away PSU game, and WTF right?! So... here we go.. the gal that never gave much thought to her wedding day is suddenly realized how many friends and family she has and ideas runnin around! There are 7 (yes, 7!!!) girls standing up with me...and, oh will they have AMAZING flowers (right Scott??)... LOL We've got a total wedding party (including ourselves) of 18.. yikes! 7 gals, 7 guys, us 2 and flower girl & ring bearer... who'd have thought it!
Yah...we are probably crazy for not eloping... but, sooooo many people want to share in our day--that's how I ended up with such a huge wedding party! They all said they WANTED to be in the wedding... ironic considering I do anything to get out of being in someone's wedding now a days...lol. But, I'm blessed with such wonderful friends...so why not! And, I already know one person from Illinois is lookin for tix and many other states are sure to be represented with friends/family, so it will be a great day!
