When Did I Become Such A Girl!

It's Saturday night... It's the Eve of my Bridal Shower!!!!!!! EEEEEKKKK OMG OMG OMG!
To all you lovely ladies who will be there tomorrow: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU... I just know it's going to be a wonderful afternoon with such LOVE of family and friends. I may not be the most emotional person (although I am prone to occasional tears--it's allergies...I swear)... please know that you all mean soooo much to me. Tomorrow will be a joining of family & friends... family who've known me all my life... friends who've known me most of it... and friends who've known me for just a short time... But the love and caring for me...and for John... is evident in a crazy big guest list of 350 people... in a Bridal shower that could be 80 women! We are so amazingly blessed to have such a vast amount of wonderful people in our lives. I never would have thought that I would be here... in my home... awaiting such a splendid time with friends & family.

Wow...5 weeks from now we will be CELEBRATING... by this time, the music will be going, the booze will be flowing and that asses shaking on the dance floor. I am so excited for you all to gather in celebration with us... it'll be a smash! Or a monster mash? LOL


Also--for those that did not know.. John spent this week in Pittsburgh on Active Duty status. He's on his way home now. I know he's sooo excited to tell me about the week... He was like a kid earlier this week--you could just hear and feel the sense of passion and love he has for his duty in the Guard--and the service he was providing. The men & women that volunteered for the week should be honored--regardless of your political views. I'm greatful for them...and for my Guardsman! Keep them all in your thoughts & prayers--whether home or away.
