94 days that we have been married....
24 days 'til we go on the honeymoon...
2/2/2010... amazing, isn't it? January flew by so fast... It's odd because I don't have a lot of memories of anything going on. I suppose a mundane, relatively normal month is a reprieve for most. Don't get me wrong, i enjoy down time...but I need spice too!
So, really...January was quiet... the best memory by far was spending New Year's eve on the loveseat snuggled up with my husband watching the ball drop. We really need to do that more--ignor the distractions and snuggle up on the loveseat ...not watch the ball...haha.
February is looking fairly quiet as well, 'til we leave for the honeymoon anyway! John has guard this weekend, trying to makeup for March now since we'll be gone. This leaves me a long weekend of just me, so if anyone's bored....come on over! He'll get back Sunday in time for our Superbowl party--hoping to have a good group of family & friends over to enjoy the game...ok, to enjoy the time together...
So looking forward to the honeymoon!!! Nearly 2 weeks of just us...no distractions...no work at all! Don't get me wrong, I love my job...but I'm never really off...never know when the phone will ring. But, for the time we're away there will be no answering of a phone!
Wow...I seem to be rambling...
I keep periodically checking a friend of a friend's blog... her writings are so inspiring and amazing. She recently lost her husband and is now a single mom of 6 young girl. Her husband was taken from the earth much to young (younger than me!) and I read her struggles in the blog and am amazed by her strength. It's quite an ispiration and helps me to put those crazy things that stress me out in perspective. And, greatful for the moments I have...
