Festival of Trees-- my little pet project--was held last week... was a very long week, always fun to see it happen, but happy to see it done! OF course, it's now thank you notes and follow-up...lol. Everything went well... even setting up the 14' tree that fell...lol. Fortunately it fell before it was decorated!
Otherwise this week's been crazy... John's dad fell on Sunday, fracturing his hip. He got thru surgery on Tues & is doing well--expected to come home tomorrow. Poor Connie (his wife)... he was just getting back from the knee replacement & subsequent double heart attack & bypass from last Feb... ugh. Hopefully he'll be moving around well!
One thing I've never done at Christmas & always wanted to do was decorate a Gingerbread house. So, a few weeks back I picked up the easy kit at Wal-Mart. John & I finally sat down and decorated it last night... it was fun..we're both big kids. As soon as I'd set the icing down, he'd grab it & vice-versa...lol.

Last Saturday-- I went to Johnstown to meet John at Guard for his Christmas Party.
