Well, I survived my first Thanksgiving split between families...lol. What a week it has been! A week ago, I wasn't sure where this week would lead (you know...every couple has their issues...'nuff said!). But, thankfully John and I have emerged stronger and closer this week. On Thanksgiving, we had lunch at my folks then went to his families for the late afternoon/evening. Thanksgiving lunch was it's traditional to much food, followed by sale flyers and visiting. At his families, it's a total twist with wine flowing...lol. Both were wonderful.
Friday Mom & I went on our annual trek shopping. I do think I am getting less patient...but managed to not kill anyone! Not sure how much more i have to do, but should be pretty close to being done with shopping.
Saturday, John & I spent most of the day helping his folks by putting out their outdoor decorations. Then we headed to my folks to join them for dinner and attend a viewing. Today we got our apartment decorated. Looks very nice--I'll have to post pics later.
This will be a crazy busy week with Festival of Trees & I have managed to pick up my winter cold already. So, with that... i think i need a nap before watching tv later LOL.
